At first, Cinemax channel was added to Cyfrowy Polsat package on Hot Bird. In spite of many complimentary as well as and disapproval opinion about the new channel, Cyfra+ package has added Cinemax to its offer.
The fact is, that additional fee for Cinemax channel - 19 PLN per month is too high. The problem is that the new channel, similary like other Polsat channels are available on Cyfra+ terminals in pirate reception free.
To promote the new channel, Cyfra+ let all its subscribers to watch it free from 1st till 30th of April.
