TiVo® Service is purchased through TiVo® , either online or by calling them toll-free when your Personal TV arrives. The service provides the program information the receiver needs to function, allowing you to set up automatic recordings, receive free software updates, TiVo® lution onscreen magazine and the Network Showcases. TiVo® Service: is $4.95 per month for this unit.
All TiVo® units need to be connected to a phone line, if you don't have a phone jack near your entertainment system consider one of the new wireless phone jacks that are available.
