Both Eutelsat Hot Bird 13F and Eutelsat Hot Bird 13G will operate at 13 ° E and provide television and radio broadcasting capacity in Europe and the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. Both satellites will provide 80 transponders in the Ku band (73 in the equivalent of 36 MHz units). The total number of transponders will not change with the new satellites - 102. 95 transponders in the equivalent of 36 MHz units will operate in the band.
